After engineers and computers spent millions of hours analyzing the design, the new Jaguar F-type is finally ready for unveiling at the Paris Motor Show next month. Clad in sexy aluminum skin, the convertible model takes to the automotive runway on Sept. 27.

Other than vague, almost philosophical raving about how much intricately detailed work went into crafting such a delectable, exquisite, ground-breaking vehicle (no really, the press release reads like it was written after a brainstorming session amongst scientists and PR folks on ecstasy), Jaguar has been scant on the details. We're led to believe that the design process may have included some kind of sorcery.

When you are working on a Jaguar sports car the expectations of the world are huge. We're really pleased how the attributes have translated from the virtual simulation work we've done into the physical world

What we do know is that it will be available with three engines — 250 hp and 280 hp supercharged 3.0-liter V6s and a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 of indeterminate power output.

We have a feeling that the final product of whatever magical/scientific process was involved in designing the F-type produced a pretty amazing car. But we'll have to wait a bit to find out for sure.
