Chrysler will unveil the new Euro-spec Jeep Grand Cherokee with a 3.0-liter Common Rail Diesel (CRD) engine at this year's Geneva Motor Show. They'll likely also show off the new Chrysler 300. Sadly, we're only getting the latter.
Originally debuting in the 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the 3.0-liter CRD engine brought 218 HP and 376 lb-ft of torque to European buyers of the off-road-ready unibody SUV. Now there's a new Jeep Grand Cherokee — and although it's getting a new engine lineup here in the United States, it's getting the same ol' CRD for Europe.
