According to Winding Road, those shots of the Jaguar XF concept that hit the intersplice this am blew the lid off the company's new design exemplar. Seems Car and Driver jumped the gun on their February issue, which was supposed to have come out after the XF debuted at the Detroit auto show next month. C&D also notes that the prototypical S-Type replacement is powered by the S-Type R's 400hp blown 4.2-liter V8. Oh to have a tap on C&D's editorial desk phone this morning.
