Yes, we know the current course layout is far different than it was pre-war. Probably a far more apt comparison would be the Jaguar S-Type Diesel that Jeremy Clarkson metaphored around the ‘Ring in 9:59 before comparing it to an old bottle of wine. A Mini Cooper S equipped with a slushbox can lap in around 8:55.
The E Race is identical to the Mini E Ray reviewed a while back in all but suspension, roll cage and a stripped interior to reduce weight. No polar bears were harmed in the filming of this video.
