An electric Isle of Man TT racer ridden by Lee Johnston was stolen from Brammo’s headquarters in Talent, Ore., sometime between Thursday night and Friday morning of last week. Like stealing rare cars, taking a rare $250,000 motorcycle doesn’t sound like a good idea. Isn’t it a little...obvious? [Update: it has been found!]

According to The Ashland Daily Tidings, the bike in question is Empulse RR Race Bike No. 3, an electric motorcycle that was not for sale. The bike was stolen from Brammo’s shop somewhere between Thursday night and Friday morning.

The frame is stamped with VIN #004, and the motorcycle was on display with its full race bodywork still on, as it looks in the photos.
