A prospective Australian Lamborghini buyer reinforced negative stereotypes about people who buy test drive exotic automobiles yesterday when he crashed the Gallardo he was test driving into a highway barrier.
According to the Sydney Daily Telegraph, the unidentified driver panicked while driving the Gallardo and hit a highway barrier. As you can see the highway barrier got the better of the Lambo, doing extensive damage to the front of the car.
Luckily the unidentified driver and the unfortunate Lamborghini Sydney salesman who was a passenger in the car at the time of the crash were both uninjured. Police are still investigating the incident and deciding whether or not to press charges.
According to the manager of Lamborghini Sydney, the customer was not speeding at the time of incident and will not be held responsible for the damages. Not surprisingly, he hasn't made an offer on the damaged car.
