The smoking loons at Honda get all imaginative on us with this latest spot, and we've gotta say, it kinda made our heart melt. The clip's protagonist, dressed in natty vintage racing togs replete with muttonchops and handlebar mustache, makes egress from his seaside trailer and hops on an old 50 Mini Trail. He then makes an onward and upward vehicular progression toward the Bransonian ideal, all while singing "Dream The Impossible Dream" from Man of La Mancha. Sure, tilting at windmills never looked so rewarding, but in the wake of the Ridgeline's lukewarm sales, is this really the subtext Honda wants to present? [Thanks to Wes for the tip.]
