"Ava" is a black Lab mix, who was on her way from Texas to her new home in Wisconsin. During a stopover in Winterset, Iowa, Ava slipped out of her harness and disappeared. After being searched for throughout the night on Friday, she was found in a nearby garage — along with 9 new puppies.

On Friday, Ruff Life Rescue posted on their Facebook that pregnant Ava had gone missing, and that they were hoping for donations to hire a scent dog to help track her down. Ruff Life posted on Saturday that Ava had been found, along with nine puppies, and shared that they would be fostered at a local home until today or Monday, when they will complete their journey to Wisconsin.
