Whereas before it was all but certain, now it is absolutely for certain — the LX-platformed shortened-to-two-doors Dodge Challenger will be built in DaimlerChrysler's Brampton plant, west of Toronto. Production of the sports coupe is set to begin in the spring of 2008 as the Challenger is added to the plant's existing production of it's stable mates, the Dodge Charger sedan, Dodge Magnum station wagon and their cross-platformed cousin, the Chrysler 300. No word yet on whether this North 'merican muscle car will come standard with one of those silly mountie tooks. Oh, come on, you know what we're talking about — right, eh? [Hat tip to Pete!]
