Chrysler wants you to like the Dodge Dart. They really do. And they're sweetening the pot with a a million powertrains and more than 150 Mopar accessories, most of which can be found on the Dodge Dart GTS 210 Tribute custom car.
Aesthetically, the "Stage 1" appearance package adds details that are a touch more Jersey Shore Italian than sexy Ferrari Italian. Maybe it'll look better on a black car, but there's something a touch disturbing about a matte black spoiler, chin spoiler, diffuser on a red car. The black carbon fiber hood with gigantic (working?) hood scoop also doesn't do it any favors.
The 18-inch titanium alloy wheels are a nice touch.
Hopefully, you don't have to go through "Stage 1" to get to the "Stage 2" performance package. There's a "performance calibration" we're taking to mean a light tune, coupled with a new intake and exhaust. This boosts power on the 2.4-liter Tigershark model to 210 horsepower over the base 184, thus the name.
If you were curious how they get to the "150" number of accessories it's with options like a "bright finish" pedal kit and a wireless device charging mat. The onboard Wi-Fi with a 150-ft range isn't a performance option, but will help to make the screen-laden Dart an interesting choice for a techmobile.
