With nearly half the points of Ford and Chevy so far this Nascar season, but two straight pole positions gained by Penske Racing's Ryan Newman, Dodge is hoping its first-year Charger entries are getting tweaked out enough to win one at Bristol Motor Speedway this Sunday. A Dodge Charger hasn't taken a Nascar race since 1977, the year Neil Bonnett won the Los Angeles Times 500 in Ontario, CA. We were wearing our "Convoy" baseball cap and slugging Shasta Grape on ice.
