A documentary about the life of Ed "Big Daddy" Roth, custom-car designer, illustrator and pop culture icon of the 1960s is in post-production. Roth, whose custom car creations include the Outlaw, the Beatnik Bandit and the Mysterion died in 2001. The film, to be titled "Confessions of a Hot Roddin', Pinstripin', Kustomizin', Teenage Icon" is directed by documentary filmmaker Ron Mann, whose credits include "Go Further," an environmentally aware send-up of Ken Kesey's Merry Pranksters featuring Woody Harrelson and "Grass" a history of recreational marijuana use during the late 20th century.
