According to the Land Rover Chronicles, that prospective P. Diddy Range Rover, rumored to be nigh earlier this year, was either cancelled or was never in the works. Although Ford officials had confirmed the company and the rap mogul (whose name is projected to be a barely-articulated "uh" by 2007) had discussed a signature-edition Rover, Land Rover North America officials now say such talks were informal, and led nowhere. We're still holding out for a Jam Master Jay Memorial '73 Olds Toronado. [Update: Sorry for the misspelling in the previous headline. Someone must have replaced our meds with SweeTarts.]
Sorry, no P. Diddy Edition Range Rover [Land Rover Chronicles]
