As part of an exhibit dubbed "Engines Exposed," The Henry Ford museum has opened the hoods and removed the engine covers on dozens of vehicles in its collection. Ever wondered what the inside of a Bonneville streamliner looks like?
Now's your chance to find out. The exhibit runs through the end of January and includes everything from the Le Mans-winning Foyt/Gurney 1967 Ford GT40 to a 1931 Bugatti Type 41 Royale. Automobile Magazine has an extensive (88 images strong) photo gallery of the engines in the display, and you can take a quick glance at the museum's car collection in the videos below. No points for swiping parts.
