Detroit Auto Show Evacuated After Fire Erupts In Audi Display

The are numerous reports on the web of a serious fire breaking out in the Audi display inside Cobo Hall where the 2010 Detroit Auto Show is being held. There's no indication yet of any injuries or the extent of the damage but the photo from Twitter user @KristynBurtt shows a lot of smoke around the Land Rover display a few booths away. The entire hall has been evacuated.

Thankfully, there's a fire station across the street. We'll keep you updated as we get information.


UPDATE: Everyone's okay according to the Detroit Free Press and the show will reopen soon.
