Like it or don't, Honda's 2006 Civic is bound to inspire years of tedious examination. Take that long windshield rake. Is it better suited to the coupe (yes) than the sedan (no)? Does the sedan remind us of a generic, plebian TV-plot "car of the future," say, from Fox's "Alien Nation" of the 1990s? Sorta. Does the coupe remind us of a late-1990s Acura CL? Kinda. Still, the coupe and sedan have different exterior and wheelbase dimensions, so for argument's sake, they should probably be considered independently. Anyway, there'll be plenty of time for armchair handicapping later on; for now, let's stick with the details.
