Named for the Japanese mythological meta-god, Izanaginomikoto, Izana is the latest concept out of Japan's Sivax. If you'll recall, the design studio is a Paris mainstay, showing off the Xtile concept in 2004 and Kira streetster in 2002. This one finds the sourcing firm exploring the sports-coupe construct, adding typical swing-up doors and a fascia that's ripped right from Kabuki mask culture. Still, we can't help thinking it's just slightly behind the curve. The "bound foot" styling tropes are so last century. [Gallery]
