Engine governors have been around for years. Just ask Abrams tank drivers or Mercedes owners frustrated at being unable to extract the maximum performance from their hyper-expensive vehicles. However, a group of researchers at Leeds University have come up with numerous new ways in which electronic nannies could interfere with driving.
