The six-disc DVD set about the senior Dale Earnhardt, cleverly titled Dale, is possibly the best selling sports DVD of all time. It's difficult to be sure because both Billboard's DVD tracker and Nielsen VideoScan fail to count DVD's sold at Wal-Mart and, currently, the big-box retailer is the only place where you can get a copy of your own. Narrated by Paul Newman, Wal-Mart has moved more than 800,000 copies of the DVD. The question is will it outlast the upcoming eight-part DVD of famous Jewish-American outfielder Morrie Arnovich: Morrie, which will only be for sale at Katz's Deli? [ESPN]
