We met frequent tipster CTE back in the dark times, working for a then-recently-purchased American Lawyer Media; a gig that could charitably described as stressful, poor-paying, and completely retarded. (Up yours, Wasserstein!) Sorry, had a brief Gawker moment there. At the time, both of us were working as graphic artists, and we always enjoyed his musings on design, even when we disagreed. Anyway, apparently the old boy got sick of just sending us tips and decided to start writing about cars himself. To which we say, "Yes, you magnificent bastard! Yes!" His topic? The sameness of design cues across brands and vehicles that come in at wildly-different price points. Read on, children.
