Cows, 'Copters, KTM Side-Car In Down Under Desert Race

Presenting an official video from the sun-scorched, engine-eating, 2013 Australasian Safari. The seven-day navigation rally concludes today, and as such it seemed only fitting we enjoy some clips from the race.

Featured above is Leg 4 of 7, which most accurately depicts the event based on what I remember from participating in 2011.

Sun, dirt, and animals are as big a part of the show as the bikes, buggies, and cars (which is what they call everything with four wheels).

Looks like a couple maniacs even attempted it with a sidecar this year... clip's worth watching for that alone.

I did notice as I moved from the first to the latest showreel, less and less motorcycles are featured... evidence of the high attrition rate.
