Just because he's in jail for crimes committed while mayor of Detroit doesn't mean Kwame Kilpatrick is without skills or an outlet for expressing his innocence. In fact, as Autojunkie noted, now that Chrysler needs a new Twitter ranch hand, Kilpatrick could be the man for the job:

As of five minutes ago am officially started my own social media advertising firm. I will gladly accept half of whatever it was you were paying this NMS to do the same thing you were probably being overcharged for in the first place.
Besides... I have nothing else to do in my "office" all day, I have plenty of debts to pay back, and texting is one of the things I do best.
