Corruption at the Tow Yard

We hate tow yards. In fact, we don't know anybody who likes tow yards. People are generally in a foul mood because they're either recovering a stolen car, a wrecked car or a towed car. Plus, the yards are often in like Flynn with the municipalities, and there's not a lot of recourse. Either you pay pay through the nose and get your car back, or you don't. Y'all would think it couldn't really get worse, could it? Oh, but it can get worse. Dan Walter of H&W Tow in Springfield, MO, who had a contract with the city, was accused multiple times of stealing people's posessions, including a dead teenager's class ring from a wrecked Firebird and a handicapped boy's wheelchair. That's not just a racket, that's low.
