I'm not sure what my first celebrity crush was, but I know the first one I felt guilty about (and was thus thrilled by) was Shirley Manson of the band Garbage. In no way indicative of my general aesthetic, there was just something kind of wrong about her and therefore right in so many ways for the 13-year-old version of me. When they added Garbage songs to Gran Turismo for the American releases it caused the kind of cataclysmic event astronomers study with radio telescopes. There are a few people excited about the Chevy Volt, but it's unclear how soon they'll be able to actually buy one and Death By Cornbread seems to think the people who combined my two teenage obsessions is to blame.
I hear Polyphony is designing the software for it.
