You know how you know you're watching an independent film in the 1990s? Eric Stoltz is in it. Double points? Quentin Tarantino shows up and talks about how homoerotic Top Gun really is. Even though Tarantino didn't direct the film, it's maybe one of his best moments ever. In fact, few people in Tarantino films get such great moments until Inglorious Bastards in 2009 and the amusing/disturbing Hans Landa. Actor Christoph Waltz got a few awards for his performance, but we think the German/Italian Spyder Performante would have been a better choice and we're guessing WestMclaren agrees.
