I knew a high school newspaper editor who would abuse the Intro To Journalism students who wanted to get a story into his little 13-inch tab. He thought he was awesome, and to green Freshman who fancied themselves would-be Woodward and Bernsteins, he was. He'd break down these kids ad make them cry, just because he could. He made one poor girl try 12 drafts before declaring he'd print it if she could write one good sentence. Eventually, she did, and he was left trying to decide how to publish what was still an awful story. "Lemme see the picture" he said, of the accompanying art. So he just ran the photo with the line as a caption. That was it. She eventually dropped the class. Changing the name to Chevy Sonic isn't going to make the Aveo any better, but Milwaukee_slows manages to make his comment even better by supplying good art. Fine. We'll print it.
