British comedy, like soft cheese, doesn't always age well. For all the timeless humor (or maybe humour in this case) of a Monty Python And The Holy Grail there's a comedy like Keeping Up Appearances that no one under the age of 70 with access to a station other than PBS will watch. It's not yet clear where Fawlty Tours fits into this spectrum. If you like John Cleese you'll love him as the bumbling hotelier Basil Fawlty. If you're just someone who thought Spamalot was funny it may sail past you. In that case you should just go back and watch Flying Circus, because no one doesn't laugh at the Spanish Inquisition, just like no one buys a $1.7 million Bugatti Veyron just for the neat toys as Piloter explains.
Nobody expects the Veyron's imposition! Its chief weapon is exclusivity....exclusivity and insanity....insanity and exclusivity... Its two weapons are insanity, exclusivity...and ruthless efficiency...
Its THREE weapons are insanity, exclusivity, ruthless efficiency, and an almost god-like status to the plebs.
Its FOUR weapons, no, amongst its weapons... Amongst its weaponry are such elements as exclusivity, insanity...
I'll come in again
