Commenter Of The Day: Egg McGunOak Edition

I spent part of my life down the street from my German grandmother. While other kids would get cereal or waffles for breakfast, I'd get a real breakfast. Eggs, sausage, bacon, toast, jam, whatever. It was great. My favorite was a variation of an Egg McMuffin that used a scrambled egg, veggie sausage patty and cheese on an english muffin. I called it the Egg McGunOak because my grandma lived on a street called Gun Oak Place and, even at a young age, I feared corporate trademark infractions. It was just one of the things my grandma did for me without me asking to make my life easier. She was the good kind of overseer. The Tesla watches over you as well, but Whack-a-mole thinks the outcome will be more than just a slight weight gain.

- Hi Joe.

- (oh, she remembers my name, nice!) Hi, 'morning.

- Tall Mocha Toffee Latte with skim milk, right?

- (oh, she remembers what I ask always) Yes, thanks.

- Don't worry, we don't take your cash, your credit card has been accepted and you already paid.

- But, wait....

- Joe, can I suggest you to visit the Apple store on 767 Fifth Ave? It looks like your iPod is already 2 years old.

- Well, I'm sort of short on money so I will skip on that.

- Joe, I can see you have 120,983.10 on your bank account, you could have the new iPod for only 300 bucks.

- Well thanks for that, I'll think about it....

- See you Joe, good trip to your job and back home, you've been speeding lately....
