Most parents — even Vice-Presidential candidates — have to worry about that awkward "birds and the bees" speech. But where does that weird phrase come from? Certainly, no one is suggesting that birds and the bees mate together. Nor is bee-mating similar to the way that most people, you know, do it. Though theories abound, the best bet is probably the Cole Porter song "Let's do it, let's fall in love" that includes "And that's why birds do it, bees do it." However these animals may do it, we learned how one Vette and one Benz tried to do it and, as Maymar points out today, the result wasn't as bad as you'd think.

And nine months later, an E63 AMG was born.
