To be honest, I’d almost forgotten that the car company known as Saturn ever existed, until this week when I heard about this gloriously unique hot rod somebody built with a few hundred bucks and a lot of creativity. So today, we recognized the potential of something once written off.

There were a lot of great comments showing love to Alfonso Garcia Jr. today for his ingenuity in building a chop-top hot rod out of a 1992 Saturn SL2. I think MaineAssassin spelled out most plainly though:

Hell yeah. Any car can be made cool, or at least interesting, if you’re willing to put the work in.
