What defines normalcy? It seems like a constantly moving target and settles only upon the general consensus of whatever is typical or commonplace at the given moment.
For example, it was totally normal not to have a cell phone just a few years ago. Now, it’s abnormal not to have one. You’re the odd one out if you lack one of the magic rectangles that we now devote so much of our lives to.
