Jalopnik’s own David Tracy has a fetish for taking trashed Jeeps and turning them into... vaguely operable trashed Jeeps. The comment sections in his stories are usually about 50/50 between people encouraging him and people hoping he’ll put the wrench down and take a breather for sanity. Not this time.


Tracy is currently trying to revive the derelict carcass of a mail Jeep he found in some field, and now that we’ve had a good look at just how tragic the thing really is, Jalopnik readers are pretty much unanimous in (correctly) asserting that this particular project is a rusty bridge too far. Except for one of you:


I agree with the masses on this one; even if Tracy’s janky DJ here can somehow be made to run, you know what, I’m not even going to entertain the thought.

But I do find it hilarious that there is at least one person egging him on, even if that comment might have been sarcastic.

So congratulations on COTD, weirdly-spelled “weatherman.”
