Let's jump back in time for a moment. It's 1988, and rally champion Ari Vatanen is taking on the Pikes Peak Hillclimb in a Peugeot 405 T16 GR.

The Peugeot won that event with a time of 10:47.220, and part of one of his runs was captured by filmmaker Jean Louis Mourney. That footage became the spectacular classic short film known as Climb Dance, which also includes a run from Robby Unser in 1989.

And now, for the first time ever, Climb Dance is remastered in glorious 1080p that kicks the crap out of every other version of the film out there. You should watch it because it's perfect. Minimal music, no filters or editing gimmicks, just pure driving. It's just the sound and fury of the car as it conquers the mountain.

To me, Climb Dance is more than just a hoonage video. It's art. Art involving a screaming rally car, which is the best kind of art.
