Welcome to Sunday Matinee, where we highlight classic car reviews or other longer videos I find on YouTube. Kick back and enjoy this blast from the past.

Sunday Matinee is normally for pleasant viewing of old car shows, but as I've locked up Patrick in my basement and he'll only see the light of the Matinee again if he's lucky, it's time for something a bit... darker.

Classic 911s are beloved by all, except for one Jeremy Clarkson. He seems to reserve a special hatred for them, especially the vintage varieties, as he claims they always try to kill him.

What pisses him off even more, though, is that they seem to be made out of granite. Vintage 911s seem to be indestructible. At one point, he even calls it "Brunhilda."

In this famous clip, Clarkson himself, then, tries to destroy this particularly gorgeous red one. He drops a piano on it. Crashes it into a building. Shoots it with a shotgun. Pours acid on it. Kicks it. Hits it. Drops it onto an exploding caravan.

Perhaps the worst part, however, are those hideous sunglasses Clarkson's got on at the end.
