Chrysler Sets off Nitro Concept in Chicago

Holy mother of Power Wagons! Dodge revealed its SUV concept, dubbed the Nitro, at the Chicago auto show. Built on the Jeep Liberty platform, the blocky Nitro recalls another concept named after an incendiary device, the 2002 Dodge M80 concept, with which the company also employed the "yesterday is just a today that happened years ago" approach to design. AutoWeek projects the concept could inform a new Dodge SUV expected for 2006.
