Chervrolet's planning a run at the Paris show crowds with a race car concept based on its Epica economy car. The WTCC Ultra, the company says, is a ready-to-drive study that gets its gumption from a 190-hp diesel engine that may be a version of the Epica's 2.0-liter common-rail diesel. GM calls it a "a design icon that bends the present WTCC regulations." We're sure the World Touring Car Championship guys will enjoy being tweaked like that. They're nothing if not a bunch of real cutups over at the FIA.
