Attempting to create a truck that can adapt to varying load sizes designer Haishan Deng looked to nature for inspiration. We're not sure why he called it the Bionic Chameleon, because he found his ideas in the articulated body of a centipede. The truck's soft sides make it possible for the body to fold up on itself when the full load capacity isn't needed. Add that to the cab that can be raised on rails to facilitate front end loading and this truck is more than meets the eye. This versatility should increase the truck's ability to deliver loads on congested, narrow streets. Bonus points to the first person that makes this an amphibious police assault vehicle complete with death lasers. [Via Yanko Design]
