Carroll Shelby and Superperformance Settle Trademark Despute, Agree on Partnership

Carroll Shelby and Superformance International, maker of the Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe (formerly the Brock Coupe) and Cobra roadster replicas, settled alleged trademark and infringements on the cars' body shapes. The two companies agreed on a licensing arrangement for Superperformance's Cobra component cars, which will be sold through Shelby's dealer network. Shelby products will likewise be available through Superperformance's retail network.
