We wrote about the Freestream project a few months ago. Designed to be an F1 car for the street, the wee beastie (456kg!) that'll supposedly pull 3gs of lateral acceleration sounds not so much like a car, but rather a Sidewinder missile on rails. The project has now been bought out by automotive consultancy Caparo, with founding engineers Ben Scott-Geddes and Graham Halstead staying on board. Caparo hopes to have the first cars on the road by December. We're slightly scared.
