Cadillac is extending its strategy to make Europeans crave its big, throbbing American brand into a new tactic: a small sedan just for the European market. The BLS, a small, front-drive sedan riding on GM's Epsilon platform (Saab 9-3, Chevrolet Malibu), will soon compete with the Audi A4 and BMW 3-Series for parking spaces along the Boulevard de l Yser. Cadillac will offer a range of engines tuned for European fuel consumption, including diesel and turbodiesel options, along with gasoline four and six cylinder options.
