Exxon Mobil Goosecreature Ampersand Spong Whapcaplet Looseliver Vendetta and Prang posted profits of $36.13 billion for 2005 — or a mere $10.71 billion for the fourth quarter — the largest annual reported net income in US history. According to the company, high oil and gas prices and demand for refined products led to the historic profits.
