Watching this implausible auction unfold has been as thrilling as staking out a shard of drift in the Sea of Okhotsk. No one as yet has taken "Grant" up on his offer of a Bugatti Veyron at $1.7 million, despite the seller's 97.1% positive feedback rating. He's been described as a "very good costumer" by one fellow eBay seller (perhaps of wardrobe accessories), but we're sure he didn't win any credibility from collectors of exotic automobiles by being on the receiving end of "cd player didn't come with harness." (Describing the car's W16 engine as having "8 cubic liters" didn't help either). We'll keep watching, but don't expect much.
