Buckle Your Keys Up For Safety

The "Buckle Up Key Holder" is a seat belt buckle re-purposed for clever key storage. It's also $22, which is funny because a visit to the pick-and-pull and a few bucks in parts and you could make one way cooler.

We're thinking the old GM or Ford metal belt buckles would be way better for this. The kind you find in everything from the 80s — the ones that'll melt your skin if you sit on 'em in the summer. All-in, counting the de rigeur $1 admission, and you're probably out all of $3, assuming you aren't sneaking bits out in your big tool box. A couple minutes with a drill and some light woodwork if you want to be fancy about it and you've got the same thing. Added to the shopping list.
