It's one of those news days for VW where they've got good news and bad news. The good news is that sales have rocketed upwards by 35.6% for the month of May. Yay! The bad news is that they've also decided to go the GM route and offer buyout packages to 85,000 German workers. Boo! And if you thought those buyout packages at GM were pretty generous, wait'll you get a load of these. Depending on when you leave and your years of service, workers can be looking at receiving offers of up to 249,480 Euros ($320,800) each. Not too shabby if you ask us. Kind of makes those UAW contracts look like the losing suitcase in Deal Or No Deal.
