BREAKING: Lotus announces plan to build motorcycles, and points out that “vehicles have left the factory with only two wheels before”

So after having very ambitious plans to develop and produce a line of world-class luxury-, performance- and supercars, abandoning all of that and just continue making the Elise/Exige/Evora, they want to sell very ambitious-sounding world-class superbikes that aren't developed yet...
Judging by official registration figures, Lotus sales have literally stopped here in Germany. The cars may be excellent to drive, but with high prices, subpar (perceived) quality and questionable corporate stability, they just aren't an ownership proposition next to Porsche.
