The BMW M3 GTS is the ultimate street-legal M3, offering up a 450-hp 4.4-liter V8 and every bit of M-goodness in the shop. Now Car's snagged some photos of the M3 Saloon Concept, which might bring the same oomph to the sedan, but probably won't.

BMW loves stratifying its offers, and rather than build something on-par with the GTS Coupe, this concept appears to hint at something just above the M3 with a more powerful version of the standard 4.0-liter V8 instead of the larger V8. What the new sedan lacks in displacement it makes up for with GTS alloys, bodywork, lighter exhaust, and curb-scrapping suspension tweaks.
