But still, that's the BMW M3 cabrio, mutable hardtop affixed, rounding the Nürburgring on a shakedown mission before it debuts this September in Frankfurt. After that, it'll more likely be an ornament of the Hamptons, on LA's coast highway and Miami's Ocean Drive than a racetrack flogee. Overengineering, thy name is Bimmer.
