Germany's Auto Motor und Sport reports, in that very special German way they do, Volkswagen's releasing a special-edition GTI to commemorate the sports Golf's 30th anniversary on earth. Fittingly, the model will have 30 more horsepower than the standard version out of the same 2.0-liter TFSI mill (230 hp vs. 200 hp). Inside, the edition includes leather sport seats and special 30th Anniversary badging and appointments. No US version is planned, considering we didn't get the GTI until 1983. Math is a bitch.
