Wee Willie Clay came forth with some harsh words for the naysayers stalking the halls at the Blue Oval in a companywide e-mail, and he delivered it via a vaguely podcasty method. In an audio message sent to employees, Ford exhorted, "Anyone who thinks or attempts to convince you that it's business as usual at Ford is wrong and would best serve us all by pursuing their interests elsewhere." The automaker's facing the task of cutting 4,000 salaried jobs, and we presume they'd rather have people leave than stick around as nattering nabobs of negativity. (We think we stole that last phrase from Brock Yates. Hi Brock!) Of course, as we all know, the whiners, bitchers and complainers never leave, they just stick around and grow even more bitter. How's that gonna affect your new bidness plan, Billy?
