Not sure if the guy driving this Scania semi-truck simply didn’t see these railroad crossing lights or if he fancied himself some kind of badass, but I think this sensational collision settles the “train versus truck” debate with some finality.
Timestamp says this happened on the morning of December 11th, with reports putting it in the city of Frýdek-Místek, in the far east of the Czech Republic. Czech site Novinky says the truck driver was “slightly wounded” but the 80-some people on the train got away unscathed.
Could be a cute allegory for public transportation asserting dominance over road-bound vehicles. Or maybe that’s just stupid.
